Awesome place to meet up with friends, have a reasonably priced & carefully-crafted drink, or see a show. Seasonal drinks and rotating specialty cocktails are a must here. If you’re a performer, the stage is raised, a great size for audience engagement— and the sound crew has your back. It was awesome to feature here for Bloomington Poetry Slam/ National Poetry Month. Thanks for being such an awesome venue.

Fun place to grab a drink, gather with friends, catch a performance, or just hang by oneself at the bar. Many beers on tap. Now wine, too, best lemonades ;)

If your idea of the perfect bar conversation is talking about different cooking techniques that should be applied to billionaires to make them edible, childhood trauma caused by the trough urinals at Wrigley Field, and why the bartender is scared of fresh eggs, all while The Clash play in the background, this may be your favorite bar in Bloomington. It is mine. It is dark. There are no TVs. The beer and spirits are well curated. Plus the barkeeps know how to have an actual conversation. A true gem of a bar.

My favorite bar in town. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Very relaxed atmosphere. A great spot for conversation. I’m a big fan of the rotating cocktail menu.

Frankly, pretty much the only bar in town I care to spend time in. As an adult (read: non-student) in this town, there aren’t many bars that are a good place to simply hang out - no TVs blaring, no bar crawl nonsense, no overpriced cocktail menu. Just chill. Plus, it’s a great place to see a show!
